Lights not working

It has been reported that there are a few street lights not working around the estate, The Residents Assocation Committe have contacted the ESB, but have been told that we need to contact Andrews Construction, which we will do, if you notice a street light is not working on your road, can you contact us and give us the lampost number please.

Thanks

Trees

Having contacted Andrews Construction with regards the cutting down of trees, we have a reply from them. This is what they have replied to us: “The trees that were removed were so done on the Instructions of the Public Lighting Department of Meath County Council as part of the Taking in Charge process. These trees were deemed to be obstructing or potentially obstructing the lights. We have now agreed that the remaining trees falling into this category will be pruned rather than removed.”

We have also been informed because of the potential obstructions, these trees will not be replanted.

Unfortunate, this is way beyond our control, and there is nothing that we can do.
