Feedback from the Johnstown Pedestrian and Cycle Improvements information meeting

Feedback from the Johnstown Pedestrian and Cycle Improvements information meeting this evening at the Ardboyne Hotel.

The proposals are enquiries and not planning applications but they want our feedback. There are readable plans in limited detail about cycle paths in the general area.

All the residents associations affected have the same objections to the connecting routes.

Please can ALL our residents send an email to brian.mcmahon@aecom.com  stating your comments and thoughts about  4 connections into:  Bailis Downs, then Athlumney Abbey and Athlumney Castle.

If you wish to object to the proposals you may choose to copy and paste the following :

“As a resident of Athlumney Wood  I object to the proposal to create any new through routes within my estate in any and all formats. I believe that our safety and security would be greatly reduced by having increased traffic through our quiet estate and it would increase antisocial behaviour. ”
