Johnstown Youth Club Meeting update!

Hi everyone,

Happy new year!
Here’s an update of what’s happening since I was last in contact.

Youth Club
I have arranged with Meath Youth Federation for the use of their Youth Cafe on January Thursday 16th at 7.30pm.  The Youth Cafe is on the grounds of St Mary’s Church in Navan. I am inviting all interested young people and their parents from Johnstown to come along on the night for three reasons:
discuss how we can get a Youth Club up and running for the Johnstown area
talk to parents about forming a committee to run the club (Meath Youth Fed have offered to provide training and support)
complete the final part of our Johnstown Residents Anti-Social document. I would like to use the night to talk to young people and get their opinions and ideas to put into the report.
Please feel free to invite as many young people and parents from the area to come along on the night.

If the night goes well, the document should be complete by the end of January and will be on the Superintendents desk.

Home security Exhibition in Ardboyne Hotel, Navan 26-11-11 from 11am to 8pm.

Hi All,

In light of the number of burglaries and thefts recently around the county I am putting together a Home Security Exhibition which will be held in the Ardboyne Hotel on Saturday the 26 November 2011 from 11am to 8pm. It is hoped to have a cross section of exhibitors which will cover all aspects of home security. I will have alarm companies, CCTV companies, the new product for marking property Smartwater, fire equipment, electric gates, tracking devices for cars and hopefully laptops, window security etching, door security and grills, locksmiths etc. When I have a complete list I will forward around a list of the exhibitors and what they do.

If anybody is interested in taking part in the exhibition please contact me ASAP as the slots are filling up. If you know of anybody that has a good product and would be of interest in the exhibition please contact them to let them know or pass their details on to me immediately.
