Drivers, be very carefull !!! Yesterday morning the child was knocked down at the entrance of the estate. All cyclists (no matter big or small) , please wear helmets and Hi Vis jackets!!!

Navan Gardai are investigating a serious Assault that occurred on Saturday evening the 3/12/16 at 6.30pm approx at Beech Drive, Navan. The IP who is only 13 years of age was cycling home when he was attacked by four teenagers who were not known to him.
He states that two males held him on the ground while a third produced a knife to his face and stomach making slight cuts. A fourth participant is alleged to have recorded the whole incident on a mobile phone. If there was anybody in the Beech Drive estate in navan and witnessed the incident can you please call Navan Garda on 046-9021445. If you know the names of the suspects involved or perhaps saw the video clip please call us. This was a vicious assault so any help would be appreciated.

A number of vans are being broken into in the Navan area. Athlumney Wood was hit over the weekend. Two vans on Willow Green were done. Windows smashed in and items stolen. It’s just to make the residents aware of what’s going on. We need to be more vigilant and keep an eye out.
