Kids safety

Now that the evenings are dark quite early but still mild, please ensure your children are wearing reflective clothing if outside playing. It’s very difficult to see a child who is wrapped up in dark winter woolies, when they dart out from behind a parked car as you make your way home. Residents in all estates, with narrow roads, cars parked sometimes on both sides, need to make sure their children are safe. Hi-vis vests or armbands at least need to be compulsory if they’re outside playing after school, from now until the end of January at least. Thank you.

Keep an eye on…

Builders work

There have been several enquiries as to what is happening at the moment with regards to the work the builders are doing. As part of the Taking In Charge of the estate, the Council has informed Andrews that the water pipes/stop cocks need to be lowered as per building regulations. Apart from building regulations, hopefully this will also mean that no pipes will freeze this winter, which has effected quite a few households in the estate in previous years.
